I am so excited to begin the school year! Here are my goals for my wonderful students this year:
* My students will successfully work together in cooperative groups.
* My students will develop into responsible citizens.
* My students will become critical thinkers.
* My students will become independent readers.

CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
1. Follow directions the first time given.
2. Follow directions of the person in charge.
3. Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.
4. Raise your hand before you speak.
5. Stay in your seat unless you have permission to get up.
6. Use indoor voice when speaking.
7. “Hand up” means get quiet.
CONSEQUENCES
Students who fail to meet the classroom expectations:
1. Will be reminded of appropriate behavior
2. Will meet with the teacher
3. Will change his/her conduct grade on the conduct chart
4. Receive Time Out, Loss of Privileges or a note sent home
5. Will telephone Mom or Dad
6. Will be referred to Guidance or to the Principal’s Office
GOOD BEHAVIOR
Students who display good behavior and meet our class expectations will:
1. Receive good notes and recognition in class
2. Receive awards (stickers, free time, special privileges and treats)
